The Looming Tower, फेब्रुवारी 2018 मध्ये प्रदर्शित झालेली मालिका, 50 मिनिट लांबीचे 10 भाग. थोडी काल्पनिक अशी 9/11 हल्ल्याच्या सत्य घटनेवर आधारित कथा, पण यात विशेषकरून हल्ल्याच्या आधीच्या घटना दाखविण्यात आल्या आहेत . “हा हल्ला रोखता आला असता?” मालिका बघताना मनात येणारा मुख्य प्रश्न.

ही मालिका सत्य घटनांवर आधारित असल्य्यामुुुळे, आपणास विचार करण्यास भाग पाडते की “यूएस मध्ये मानवतेवर झालेला सर्वात मोठा दहशतवादी हल्ला टाळणे शक्य होते, जर CIA ने योग्य वेळी कारवाई केली असती किंवा वेळेवर FBI ला साथ/माहिती दिली असती”. परंतु दोन्ही संघटनाच्या मतभेदा व हितसंबंधांचा संघर्षामुळे (कदाचित वैयक्तिक हित) ते एकमेकांशी भांडतात आणि माहिती एकमेकांपासुन लपवतात. ज्याचा परिणाम 9/11 सारख्या हल्ल्यात होतो.

जागतिक राजकारणावर नियंत्रण ठेवण्यासाठी काही गोष्टींंकडे कसे दुर्लक्ष केले जाते हे पण मालिकेत दाखविले आहे. उदा. आखाती देशांवर नियंत्रण ठेवण्यासाठी सौदी राजघराण्याला देण्यात येणारी खास वागणूक किंवा सवलत.

नवनिर्वाचित अध्यक्षांच्या शपथविधिनंतर लगेच अधिकारी, सल्लागार देखील प्रक्रिये अथवा आदेशानुसार बदलल्या जातात. याचा परिणाम हळू निर्णय प्रक्रिया किंवा आवश्यक बाबींकडे दुर्लक्ष असा होतो.अल-क्यू बद्दल अंतर्गत सूत्रानी किंवा सुरक्षा संस्थानी दिलेला धोक्याचा इशारा अमेरिकन सरकारने गंभीरपणे घेतला नाही व अल-क्यू ला कमी लेखुन त्यांच्याकडे दुर्लक्ष केले.त्याचा परिणाम मोठ्या हल्लामध्ये झाला.मालिका बघत असतांना लक्षात येते की हा हल्ला दुर्लक्षित पणाचा परिणाम आहे.
हा हल्ला सुरक्षा संस्थानी कदाचित टाळला या असता,परंतु या अपयशानंतर दहशतवाद्यांनी कदाचित याहीपेक्षा मोठा हल्याचा कट आखला असता. सरतेशेवटी विनाशक वृत्ती, जिवीतहानी व मानवतेचा नाश हाच दहशतवाद्यांचा विचारांचा मूळ आधार व हेतू आहे.असे आतंकवादी हल्ले रोखण्यासाठी सुरक्षा संस्थांना नेहमीच सतर्क,योजनाबद्ध आणि तत्पर असणे आवश्यक आहे, परंतु हल्लेखोरांना सुरक्षा संस्थांचे प्रयत्न धुळीस मिळवण्यासाठी फक्त एक संधी हवी असते.

कथेमध्ये, दाखविलेले घटना व प्रसंग (विशेषत: शेवटच्या भागातील) रोमांचक व धक्कादायक आहेत. लोक धर्माच्या नावाखाली कसे ब्रेन वॉश केले जातात, विशेषतः ब्रेन वॉश नंतर आतंकवादी काय व का करीत आहेत हे पण त्यांना कळू अथवा समजू दिल्या जात नाही. थोडक्यात, त्यांना धर्माच्या नावावर अंध व बुद्धीहीन बनविले जाते असे दाखविण्यात आले आहे.

जॉन ओ’निल (जेफ डॅनियल्स), अली सौफान (तहर रहीम), मार्टिन श्मिट (पीटर सरसगार्ड) आणि डियान मार्श (व्रेन स्मिट) यांनी अप्रतिम मुख्य भूमिका साकारली आहे. सोबतच सहकलाकारांनी पण उत्कृष्ट अभिनय केला.
चित्रांकन आणि दाखविलेले स्थान,घटना कथेला पुरक आणि योग्य आहेत.फेरतपासणी दरम्यान दाखवलेली दृश्य गूढ़ उघडणारे व नवीन माहिती देणारे आहेत. अल-क्यूला अशा हल्ल्यापासून रोखण्यासाठी सौफान आणि ओ’निल यांनी केलले सोज्वळप्रयत्न मालिकेत स्पष्टपणे दिसतात. दहशतवाद्यांंना अटक करुन त्यांच्यावर खटला चालवने, त्यांना दोषी व चुकीचे ठरवुन, त्यांना वॉर हिरो होण्यापासून रोखणे हे सौफान आणि ओ’निलचे मुुख्य लक्ष्य दाखिवले आहे. तर श्मिट दहशतवादांना जिवे मारण्यासाठी सैन्य कारवाईचा अवलंब करण्याच्या विचारांचा असतो.

मालिका 9/11 च्या कट रचनेच्या कथेसाठी, हल्ल्यापूर्वी अमेरिकेच्या संरक्षक संस्थांची स्थिती व कारवाई आणि धक्कादायक खुलासे यासाठी बघण्यासारखीच आहे.मालिका तत्त्व, शक्ती, पद, ताकद इ. च्या व्यक्तिगत शीत युद्धाचा उत्कृष्ट नमुना आहे.

The Looming Tower,फरवरी 2018 में प्रदर्शित हुयी 10 एपिसोड की धारावाहिक। कहानी थोड़ी काल्पनिकता के साथ 9/11 हमले की सच्ची घटना पर आधारित है। “यह हमला रोका जा सकता था?” देखते समय आपके दिमाग में आने वाला पहला प्रश्न।

सच्ची घटनाओं पर आधारित धारावाहिक,आप को सोचने पे मजबूर करेंगी की “US में मानवता पर हुआ सबसे बड़ा आतंकी हमला, शायद टाला जा सकता था, अगर CIA ने सही समय पर कार्रवाई की होती या समय पर FBI को मदद की होती या जानकारी दी होती”। लेकिन आपसी मतभेद या स्वार्थ की वजहसे (शायद व्यक्तिगत स्वार्थ) वे एक-दूसरे से लड़ते और जानकारी छिपाते है। परिणामस्वरूप 9/11 जैसा हमला होता है।

विश्व राजनीति को नियंत्रित करने के लिए नज़रअंदाजी की कुछ घटनाओं को भी इसमें दिखाया गया है। जैसे कि खाड़ी के देशों को नियंत्रित करने के लिए सऊदी राजपरिवार को दियी जाने वाली सहूलियत।

नए राष्ट्रपति ने पद की शपथ लेते ही, अधिकारियों, सल्लागारो को भी प्रक्रिया या फिर आदेश के नुसार बदल दिया जाता है। यह निर्णय लेने की प्रक्रिया को प्रभावित कर संथ करता है और कुछ चीजों को नजरअंदाज भी किया जाता है। US सरकार (शायद नवनिर्वाचित) ने सूत्रों या सुरक्षा एजेंसियों से Al-Q के बारे में दी गयी चेतावनी को गंभीरता से नहीं लिया। इसका परिणाम इस बड़े हमले के रूप में हुआ। धारावाहिक देखते वक़्त आपको लगेगा कि हमला नजरअंदाजी का परिणाम था।
शायद उन्होंने इस हमले को रोक लिया होता,लेकिन इसके बाद आतंकवादियों ने एक और बड़े हमले की योजना बनाई होती । क्यूंकि विध्वंसक प्रवृत्ति तथा मानवता का नाश ही आतंकवाद का सोच और मूलाधार है। ऐसे हमलों को रोकने के लिए सुरक्षा संस्थाओ को हर समय सतर्क, योजनाबद्ध और तत्पर रहने की आवश्यकता होती है, लेकिन सुरक्षा संस्थाओ के प्रयासों पर पानी फेरने के लिए आतंकवादियों केवल एक ही अवसर की आवश्यकता होती है।
धारावाहिक में (विशेषकर अंतिम भाग में) दिखाई गई कहानी और घटनाएं चौंकाने वाली हैं। कैसे धर्म के नाम पर लोगों का ब्रेनवॉश किया जाता है, सोचने, समझने और विस्तार से जानने का मौका दिए बिना कैसे उनसे काम निकलवाया जाता है। संक्षिप्त में उन्हें अंधा और नासमझ बनाते हैं। यह सब दिखाया गया है।

जॉन ओ’नील (जेफ डेनियल), अली सूफान (ताहर रहीम), मार्टिन श्मिट (पीटर सरसागार्ड) और डायने मार्श (व्रेन श्मिट) मुख्य भूमिकाओं में शानदार हैं। साथ ही सहायक कलाकारों भी मजबूत अभिनय किया है ।

चित्रांकन और स्थान कहानी के अनुसार हैं। जांच के वक़्त दिखाए गए दृश्य वास्तविक और नयी जानकारी देने वाले हैं। अल-क्यू को रोकने के लिए सौफान और ओ’नील द्वारा किये गए प्रयास सराहनीय हैं।
आतंकवादियों को गिरफ्तार कर, उन पर मुकदमा चलाकर उन्हें दोषी ठहराना और, सजा देना और उन्हें वॉर हीरो बनने से रोकना यह जॉन ओ’नील और अली सूफान की सोच है । जबकि श्मिट केवल सैन्य कार्रवाई के बारे में सोचते हैं।
यह 9/11 आतंकी हमले की योजना और संबंधित साजिश, हमले से पहले अमेरिकी सुरक्षा संस्थाओ की स्थिति और कुछ रोमांचक तथा चौंकाने वाले रहस्योद्घाटन के लिए यह धारावाहिक देखना जरुरी है। यह सिद्धांतों, शक्ति, सोच के शीत युद्ध की उत्कृष्ट कलाकृति है।

The Looming Tower, a TV series of 10 episodes with an average length of 50 minutes released in Feb 2018. Story with some fiction is based on true events of the 9/11 attack with a major focus on the events before the attack. “Could the attack have been prevented?” a question that strikes your mind while watching.

It is based on true events, so you will be forced to think “Biggest terror attack on humanity in the USA, might have been avoided if the CIA would have acted on information or supported the FBI on time”. But the conflict of interests (maybe the personal interest) keeps them fighting with each other and hiding the information. Which results in an attack like 9/11.

The series also shows some events of ignorance to control world politics. E.g. It has been shown that the Saudi monarchy has been given special treatment only to control the Gulf countries.

Newly elected presidents take the oath and officers, bureaucrats, advisers are also changed as per processor command. This has affected the decision-making and made it slow or ignorant. The US government (maybe newly elected) never took the warnings from internal sources or security agencies about Al-Q seriously. It resulted in the Big Attack. While watching you will think the attack was the result of ignorance.

Security agencies might have saved this attack, but terrorists would have planned another one and a bigger one. Terrorism has the main moto and thought process of killing and humanity destruction only, nothing else. To prevent such attacks security agencies need to be alert, planned, and right at all times, but attackers need only one chance to waste all their efforts.

The story and events are shown (especially in the last episode) are shocking. It showed how people are brainwashed in the name of religion, without letting them know and understand the things in detail about what and why they are doing. In short, they make them mentally handicapped or blind.

Character John O’Neill (Jeff Daniels), Ali Soufan (Tahar Rahim), Martin Schmidt (Peter Sarsgaard), and Diane Marsh (Wrenn Schmidt) are fantastic in lead roles. The Supporting cast has an equally strong role and they lived it up to the mark with great acting.

Picturization and locations used are suitable to the storyline. Investigation inquiry scenes are informative and real. The efforts of Soufan and O’Neill to stop Al-Q from such an attack are praiseworthy.
Soufan and O’Neill are clear in their thinking with a focus to arrest and prosecute terrorists, punish and don’t let them become War heroes. Whereas Schmidt thinks of military action only.

It is a must-watch show for the story of the 9/11 terror attack’s planning and related conspiracy, the situation of US security agencies before the attack, and for some shocking revelation. The Show is a masterpiece of the cold war between principles, power, position, etc.

नागपुरकर…….पुण्यात ओळख शोधतोय!

महविद्यालयीन शिक्षण पुर्ण होइपर्यंत, मी एकतर महाराष्ट्रीयन, मराठी मुलगा होतो किंवा तरुण रक्त खुपच सळसळले तर एक भारतीय होतो.

पण शिक्षण पुर्ण करुन श्री(आदर दर्शविण्यासाठी) पुणे शहरात आलो. तेव्हा माझ्या/आमच्या बोलण्याच्या लकबीवरुन एक नविनच ओळख पुणेकरांनी आम्हाला दिली, ती म्हणजे ”नागपुरकर”! (कुठे तरी माझ्या वाचनात आले होते, की संशोधनानंतर असे लक्षात आले आहे की प्रत्येक वीस किलोमीटर नंतर भाषेत थोडा बदल होतो)

“नागपुरकर” म्हणजे शब्दशः बघितले तर नागपुर शहराचे रहवासी हा सरळ सरळ अर्थ. परंतु सरळ अर्थ काढला तर पुण्याच्या विद्दवेत उणेपण नाही का येणार!. म्हणुन यांनी प्रत्येक शब्दाचा आपला स्वतंत्र अर्थ विकसित केला आहे.

जे लोक बोलतांना “बे” या विशेषणाच (?) वापर करतात ते “नागपुरकर” असा यांनी विकसित केलेला अर्थ.

मग हे लोकं आंबे ऐवजी अनेकवचनी आंबाच म्हणतात का असा प्रश्न पडणे स्वभाविकच आहे. कारण आंबे म्हटल तर त्यात पण “बे” आलाच, मग एक तर आंबे म्हणणारा तरी नागपुरकर किंवा आंबे तरी जन्मतहः “नागपुरकर”! आता ह्यातलं काहीजरी मान्य केलं तरी कोकणी जनता सरळ वेगळ्या राज्याची मागणी करून भविष्यात एकही आंब्याची पेटी पुण्यात येऊ देणार नाही! आणि एकवेळ स्वाभिमान गेला तर चालेल पण आंबे नको जायला या ब्रीद वाक्यावर चालणारे पुणेकर. त्यामुळे ह्या दोन्ही परस्थिति ह्यांनी मान्य करणे शक्यच नाही, म्हणुन बे शब्दाचा हा अपवाद.

याला अजुन एक अपवाद म्हणजे “बे” चे पाढे. अन्यथा “बे” च्या पाढ्यांची रचना नागपुरकरानी केली हे तरी मान्य करणे आले किवां पाढ्यांना तरी “नागपुरकर” म्हणणे आले. आणि हे कुठल्याही परिस्थितित विद्देच्या माहेरघरवासीयांनी मान्य करणे शक्यच नाही. त्यामुळे उर्वरित महाराष्ट्र (पुणे) त्यांच्यावर अन्याय करतो असे वाटु नये म्हणुन पुणेकरांनीच पाढे रचले आणि नागपुरकरांची मर्जी राखण्यासाठी त्यांचे “बे” चे पाढे असे नामकरण केले, कदाचित असे स्पष्टिकरण त्यांनी दिले असावे. वेळ, बुद्धिमता, क्षमता, परिस्थिति, आवश्यकता व मतलबानुसार या अपवादामध्ये कमी-जास्त बदल होत राहतात. असो.

तस नागपुर आणि पुणे हे दोन्ही मोठी शहरे आमच्या गावावरुन अंतरानुसार १/३ आणि २/३ च्या प्रमाणात आहेत. (तसे या दोन मोठ्या शहरां व्यतिरिक्त महाराष्ट्रामधील अन्य पण काही लहान-मोठी शहर आमच्या गावाजवळ आहेत. पण पुण्यावरुन निघणारी रेल्वे नंतर सरळ नागपुरलाच थांबते असा समज (“गैरसमज” म्हणणे चुकीच ठरु शकत!) असणारयांना त्या शहरांची नावे जरी सांगितले तरी भुत बघितल्यासारखा भाव यांच्या चेहरयावर येेेतो, तेव्हा ह्यांना महाराष्ट्राचा इतिहास-भुगोल शाळेत शिकवला की नाही हा प्रश्न इतरांना पडावा!. पण मला असा कुठलाही प्रश्न पडत नाही कारण एकदा तरी स्वतःला पुणेकर म्हणुन घेण्याची माझी अखेरची इच्छा आहे! (अखेरची इच्छा म्हणजे मॄत्यु आधीची अखेरची नाही, तर अन्य खुपसारया इच्छेच्या यादींमधील अखेरची.)

आम्हाला नागपुरकर हीच ओळख का देण्यात आली? (तस आम्हाला याची काही अडचण नाही, कारण “अवघे विश्वचि माझे घर” मानणारे “वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम” सिद्धांतावर चालणारे आम्ही). म्हणुन एका वयस्कर अस्सल पुणेरी काकांना सहज प्रश्न विचारला की तुमच्याकरिता कुणालाही “नागपुरकर” ही ओळख देण्याची सीमा सुरु कुठुन होते?
“माहिति नाही” असे सांगितले तर आपल्या विद्द्वतेवर आक्षेप घेतल्या जाणार, असे वाटल्यामुळे म्हणा किंवा माझ्या खोचक प्रश्नाला अजुन जास्त खोचक प्रत्त्युत्तर देवुन आपल्या विद्द्वतेचे प्रदर्शन घडवण्यासाठी म्हणा काकांनी दिलेले उत्तर “मनुष्यजातीच्या वसाहतीकरणाचा इतिहास बघता पुणे शहर हे येरवडा पुलापलीकडे वसलेले नसावेच. परंतु विज्ञानयुगात पुलांचा शोध लागला आणि बिल्डर लोकांनी पुणे शहराला येरवडा पुलापलीकडे विस्तारित व नागपुरकरांची सीमा संकुचित करणे सुरु केले. पुणेकर व बिल्डर यांच्यातील पुणे जिल्ह्याची सीमा वाघोली, शिक्रापुर की रांजणगाव किंवा खुपच खुप झाले तर शिरुर हा सौम्य काल्पनिक वाद यश्वसीरित्या तोडीस निघाला की पुढिल सर्व प्रदेशातील लोकांंना दानी पुुुणेेेकर “नागपुरकर” म्हणुन हसत-हसत घोषित करुन टाकतील.”
तेव्हापासुन मी भाषेमुळे उपस्थित झालेला नागपुरकर सीमाप्रश्न, दहा वर्ष(यापेक्षा कमी कालावधी मध्ये अन्य कुठल्याही देशाच नागरिकत्व कदाचित मिळाले असते) “बे” विशेषणाचा वापर न करता बोलता पुणे शहरामध्ये राहुन, सौम्य वाद सुटण्याची, अजुनही एक नागपुरकर म्हणुनच वाट बघत आहेंं”बे”!!

MH12–1041…….Actually a Bike

Yes, MH12 – Pune. We can say it proudly (reason still unknown). We own (doesn’t matter who had bought it or whom RC belongs) a bike. Yes bike, this time it’s bike TVS Apache (hope still Apache is considered as a bike) and that is also with MH12 passing is like “cherry on the top”. After 7618 this is the second biggest star in our galaxy. He can’t match the sacrifice and efforts made for us by 7618, as you can’t compare the performance and role played by opener and finisher in cricket the team, similarly way you can’t compare these two. Both have their special place and role in our lives. One cannot replace another.

7618-1041 was the Dravid-Laxman’s pair for us, whenever we are in trouble (in terms of travelling, roaming, partying, movie), this pair was always ready to rescue. Sometimes I thought of the NDRF concept born from this pair only. Laxman was 110% reliable against Australia, the same way 1041 was 200% reliable during the weekend parties. From Friday night 8PM to Monday morning 9AM, 1041 would reaching anywhere for late night (4am, early morning is the best suitable word) food or the other important needful things and was always winning the battle by bringing it, on time extra quantity.

You bought a ticket for 9.30 movie show, you need minimum 30 minute drive to reach the theatre and you are still at home at 9.10 , “don’t worry, 1041 hai na”. 1041 will make sure you will not miss the Vicco vajradanti advertisement also.

1041 was powerful, muscular, dashing hunk. He was lucky in himself, because just after “Gruhpravesh” his initial 3-4 riders joined the software companies by going out of the league (Nobody was Rancho, still they are searching for their passion and talent. Till the time they find their passion and talent, riders happily accepted the job offer in the software industry and now thinking why they have wasted 4 years in Mechanical, but once Mechanical engg is always A Mechnical engg) and second lucky thing is a girl used to occupy backseat of 1041 (lift/pick up and drop service for office). Whatever may be the reason finally the goal achieved and curse ended. 1041 was is will always be the first love, doesn’t matter how many girls grab the back seat.

1041 bornt with a personality always believing in a thrilling lifestyle. Speeding up on Mumbai-Bangalore highway reaching up to 140 kmph (Few years back it was an expressway , bypassing Pimpri-Chinchwad and Pune city).Leaving from the chinchwad home for breakfast and reaching Mahabaleshwar non stop without penny in rider’s pocket, but 1041 had never broke the trust. Always accompanied in this thrills enthusiastically without asking for food whole day (after returning back somebody told, he had filled the fuel tank previous night).

1041 always used to be a part of excitement. 1041 was very specific about the things. For Mangos he would reach Marketyard directly (from any corner of the PMC-PCMC), after “Aamras” he was very specific about chapati also and used to reach other corner of the city to get the best quality (keeping other guys hungry and waiting). But 1041 was stubborn in nature, to save 500 bucks he would waste petrol worth 1000.

1041 was an extrovert kind of guy, was feeling safe in a social environment. He was habitual of arranging the get together on every weekend with for very small reasons. Once in a month he used to cook Khichdi for at least 18-20 people and personally he will make sure everybody is available, if somebody is not able to reach on time he would not think for a second and would go for pick up with co-passenger (they had to ride triple seat for return but it was fine for 1041). He would always forced people to stay back and convert a flat (HK) to Dharamshala to occupy 18-20 people in hall for night. 1041 was staying outside with happy smiling headlight.

1041 is “Navasach Bal (vow’s child)”, and had to face many struggles to live. As soon as he entered to the family, owner lost his job (recession 2008-09, memories are not always sweet. But one thing is sure these are lessons to be learnt) and it was difficult to pay loan EMI. But all sadness was changed to enormous amount of energy and enthusiasm, to find a new job, just looking at 1041’s smiling face to keep 1041 with us happy and healthy.

After the friends got busy in their professional life and it was difficult to find the free time to spend together, 1041 who was reaching everyone and meeting personally to keep the group alive. 1041 was always there to help anyone in trouble, reminding us “For you with you always”.

One thing that can not be missed here, the co passenger here was also the same man always. Both bikes have special soft corner for him, both were so caring for him to keep fresh and healthy, to keep away from fatigue, they never asked to ride one of them (still waiting to learn geared 2W to ride). He was always seated on the backseat (except when special pick up and drop for office was arranged).

Panther’s Ghost – Book review

Just finished book “Panther’s Ghost – by Double A”. First lesson learnt from book is “Don’t judge book by it’s cover”. This book was in collection from last 2.5 years and every time I avoided reading it, instead bought a new book. I felt cover is not fancy and graphics is also not that good so book is might not be interesting.

But thanks to Lockdown, finally I start reading this book and completed. After finishing this book, now I am eagerly waiting for next 4 parts.

As written on back cover page “Real Reel Books – The stories connect with the real world and reading feels like the reel world”. Reading of this book will give you feel of a movie. In an interesting movie you are always eager to know what will happen in next scene and what will be the end. Same thing will happen while reading this one. While reading this book you will feel, all characters are playing their role and scenes are moving infront of you, same like movie but here you have option that you can cast your favourite and suitable actor in whichever role he/she is suitable for. Also in a book you need not to listen and watch songs, love drama, romance etc.

Book is having many fictional characters,events and places but you can relate some of them with real one without much effort.

Book is on the most liked subject of “espionage” and “patriotism” with addition of thrill, excitement, revenge. Character, sequence story is written very well with revealing suspense at required point only and without adding much masala and story ends positively. Also initial hero of the book became only the part of a team of heros at the end.

REVIEW – The Crows of Agra

“The Crows of Agra” book will teach a lesson “All that glitters is not Gold” or “Don’t judge book by it’s cover (other way)”. Because cover page design is attractive, fancy, good graphics with catchy title but plot or story is not up to the mark.

It is a historical fiction. A book written with historical character like Akbar , Birbal, Bairam Khan, Maham Anga, Raqiya Begam, Adham Khan and others.

I don’t understand why historical fiction is allowed to write (a book with historical character’s names but fictional plot). This is my general thinking not related to any specific book.Under historical fiction books authors add drama, thrill, suspense ,story as per their imagination to make the book interesting but it will harm the history as per my understanding. People may consider events in a book as a part of history, which is ideally baseless. Instead of this kind of imaginational plots with real names , they can write the same story with some imaginary characters. But that is not the subject of discussion here.)

This book is a story of political conspiracy adduce with murder mystery. With a base storyline – Bairam Khan is a care taker of Mughal Empire, till the time Akbar forced him to leave for the pilgrim. The day before he leaves,someone murdered him in his palace and it put royal family members and close ones under suspension. After investigation and questioning, Birbal solves the murder mystery with his brilliance as usual, which ends with shocking revelation.

During unfolding of this mystery, to add excitement some interesting fictional events have been added, like first meeting of Akbar- Mahesh Das; How Mahesh Das has given a name of Birbal; Why honest and loyal man of Mughal Family Bairam Khan was forced for pilgrim; Role of Maham Anga and his son in plot to seize the throne; Nature , behaviour of young Akabar; love and married life of Akbar; interesting one is plot to seize the throne and how brilliantly young Akbar overturned the plot and how he dealt with conspirators etc.

Story is not exciting, at some points small small events keep up the interest. At some point you will feel book is lengthy and wandering from base storyline. However you can read it at small risk. 3/5*

7618 – a friend

One thing I remembered from the book “Life’s Amazing Secret” is “how we treat lifeless things, it reflects in our nature and we start treating people in the same way”. When I thought about writing about friends, it was confusing from whom I should start, after a lot of thinking I finally decided to write about 7618.

He is the Hero Honda Splendor. Gift by Shashikant uncle to Chinar for social work cum college and personal use. The bike joined our group I think in the 2nd year as a replacement for his small brother Luna. 7618 was bigger in shape, size, and more energetic (yes, ye un dino ki Baat hai….When splendor was a bike). With this dashing 7618 also, the rider was not able to attract the focus of a single girl from the college. So to cross-check the facts, 7618 changed at least 30-40 riders (not owner, but he was unofficially owned by the college with most of the shares owned by Mechanical Engg) but the story remained the same, not a single girl looked at him or rider in 4 years. So finally 7618 accepted the truth of being owned by Mechanical Engg and started enjoying (boy)friends’ company only.

7618 dedicated the initial 3 years of his life for the social activities mainly focused on college to university travel (for exam paper rechecking form filling, re-exam form filling, and mark sheet collection ). If somebody measured the kilometer traveled (many rounds with different riders from college to university) it would be equal to the distance between earth and moon (or maybe return).

7618 was very loyal to the co-passenger. The rider was changing timely but the co-passenger never left his seat. Anybody wanting to go anywhere 7618 was always ready with a back seat booked for a permanent co-passenger. 7618 was leaving the co-passenger only when he is leaving for the home else he is always accompanied by his favorite pal, even the lectures or practicals don’t matter (in classrooms or lab, but these guys are always together outside in parking, maybe accompanying each in “Tanhai”. 7618 might be thinking how his favorite friend got attendance above 75%).

7618 was never worried about petrol price hikes, he knows riders will not fill petrol more than 20Rs. But 7618 was committed and loyal, so at 20 Rs. Petrol will take you to any corner of the city with an assured return trip.

Exam result time was the most hectic period for 7618, but he was always ready for the service. To visit temples, xeroxing of notes, home/room to exam center/hostel, college to university for paper recheck form filling, result checking (still don’t know what was so exciting in the result), re-exam form filling he was always ready like Angel for us. After exam fever gets over, he used to inspire and help us with movies, parties, and fun.

7618 was one of the key members who helped many guys to complete engineering successfully like a partner.

When we joined companies in Pune, he was also with us, but he came to Pune with a different glow and glittering like diamonds. Whenever we have visited FC college road or JM road or any other crowded place, it was sure that some traffic guys will be fascinated by him, ignoring the all other 3000-4000 bikes parked along the side by side and will take only 7618 with them and then we have to start a campaign “freedom for 7618” even sometimes marching towards the place where they have held captive 7618 (we have paid so much donation in this campaign in 5-6 years, that we must have brought 2-3 brothers for 7618). In Pune on weekend (Wednesday and Friday) he was rushing to Kothrud like a horse running in the race and on the highway he used to get more energy and power trying to beat the other horses (Pulser, Apache, Avenger) but he never won. It doesn’t matter, we never thought of leaving him in his old age, we were always happy by remembering his winning streak in college time.

7618 was like Kapi Dhwaja for us (Krishna the Sarathi keeps changing, but Arjun passenger or co-passenger was the same). The way Kapi Dhwaja played a vital role in Kurukshetra Yuddha and helped Arjuna to win it, the same way 7618 played a vital role in Chinar’s life (indirectly in our life)from the day he is born. He helped us to win or at least fight life’s many wars (exam, seminar, project submission, practical exams, viva, practical re-exam, etc.) by helping us to reach on time safely and never left us in trouble. Just one major difference from Kapi Dhwaja, after Kurukshetra Kapi Dhwaja was taken back by the god but 7618 is still standing strong and inspiring us, reminding us of all the old memories of college days and friends….

Amazon Prime with new web series. A scientific fictional plot but maybe the future of the world. If you are tech-bug or sci-fi is your genre, it is a must-watch.

Luke (Kevin Bigley) is the character personally I liked most. Nora (Andy Allo) and Nathan (Robbie Amell) are in the lead role. Ingrid (Allegra Edwards) also plays a strong role. Nora plays a customer care representative role and she acts as Angel for Nathan.

The story is a romantic drama with a murder mystery. In the end, at some point, you will feel mystery solved and you will get your answer. To me, it looks mystery will be solved in next season (a small hint of next season).

The story is totally based on Artificial Intelligence with the concept of uploading a person in a programmed city just before he dies or when he wants, by scanning his memories. After scanning same person will be uploaded in this programmed city as an account, with all the world’s facilities he can enjoy there but for all this, the account holder needs to pay and as per the payment option, facilities will be provided in the programmed city. In the same way, we get the payment options now on various apps like silver, gold, diamond, etc. It has shown that the upload is only possible and download is a failure (bringing back the person in the real world).

“Upload” is the only way to be part of the program city till the time the account holder is making payment to the company. The person can call, see the real world but can not feel. Alive people can visit the city virtually and feel the upload, talk with the upload, etc. And the company that uploads you in the programmed city also provides you with a customer care representative named Angel and Angel will be available at the service of the upload with a single call. Here Nora is Angel of upload Nathan.

CORONA – Abhibhi Hai Na

1st Jun 5th lockdown officially started with lots of relaxation and mostly depend on self precaution. Central or state government declared 5th Lockdown with lots relaxations and some people immediately started making fun of it. But they forgot these relaxations are for our convenience and to save the economy , it is totally based on the confidence that people are alert enough and they will follow the rules and will take self precautions.

But today evening picture was totally different on the roads, it was like some festival celebration. People were roaming freely, shops were crowded. Though everyone was wearing mask but social distancing was miles away.

Don’t be in rush ,Vaccine or treatment is still to be discover, corona is still exist everywhere. So you have to take care of yourself and family.

Please go outside with precaution but also remember thing that doctors got infected after wearing PPE kit also. So trust on your mask, sanitiser , hand wash with your own risk.

Don’t leave home if not necessary. Ghar me hai rahana,
